Weaving

Thanks to Bonnie, a group of us learned how to do Swedish Weaving last week!!! It's lots of fun and fairly relaxing and easy to take with you and work on in the car or wherever. Here's what I have so far...
There are about six of us ladies working on this same pattern, but each one is a different color scheme. Brooke didn't make it to the initial "class", but wanted to do it as well. She just couldn't do the same pattern as everyone else (obviously - that would be so anti-Brooke), so here is hers so far. She just started last night - and we kept making her take breaks to study for her history test (she's taking a correspondence class from BJU).

It's kind of addictive...I fear my house will suffer (or maybe Brennan's Algebra 2!!! Who uses that, anyway??)

wow! that looks beautiful and annoying! sorry. I'd be so bad at that! I tried to smock a dress for Ella and it was a disaster. I tried to cross-stitch in highschool and got so frustrated! Ella sleeps with her blanket from Bonnie every night (and about 6 others- she likes blankets). It really is pretty. Good job.

That is so cool. I wish I learned how to do that too, Make sure you tell all the ladies at church I say hi.

I use my blanket from Bonnie all the time. I agree with Beth...It looks too tedious for me, but yours looks great!!
