Wedding Shower
It's been awhile since I've posted. I'm working on wedding stuff...like, addressing envelopes, ordering decorating items on ebay, etc. Tonight, (or last night...it's 1:25 a.m.) I went up to Kingsford to a shower that Joe's mom & sister had for Bethany at their church. They did a wonderful job and Bethany received many nice gifts. It was chocolate & coffee themed - two of Bethany's favorites. We joked that we wouldn't be able to sleep tonight. Turns out it was no joke!!!

Fun!!! Was this the first shower? I'm excited for you Beth. Cathy, hang in there with all the planning! I had the craziest dreams during all of that. I bet you're tired today. Me too. I'm thinking of you.

HA!!! A week or two ago I dreamed that we were picking up the flowers, actually Joe was picking them all out one by one while Bethany & I were watching & we had two hours left until the wedding. All of a sudden I remembered that I forgot to make the cake!!
Gotta love those wedding dreams! My dream that I kept having over and over again was that I was all ready to walk down the aisle, but my hair wasn't fixed...my hair was never fixed in any of my dreams...so I was so relieved to have my hair done on my wedding day. Oh...I did have another dream that Mark's dad would not let us kiss..he ran up on the stage right before we were getting ready to kiss and hid Mark. he came back in and told me I had to find Mark ... but every time I got close to finding him...Kip would jump back in and hide Mark somewhere else...I really have no idea where that dream came from! The shower decorations looked great and I love that theme idea! Just looking at those chocolate covered pretzels made my mouth water. Hope all is going well for you guys. I don't think we will be making it up to the wedding this summer, but you can believe we will be thinking of you all! By the way, where is Beth registered? Anne
She is registered at Walmart, Target and Linen & Things. She's also working on a site: www.vanlaanenandeverson.weddings.com that has all of her info on it.

in your post it says... "a shower that Joes mom and sister put on for her." what about Brooke?! What about the girl who made ALL THE FOOD? the girl who decorated THE WHOLE place? the one who CAME UP WITH THE THEME?? hmm??
Oh, well...hmmmm...perhaps since you are so good at it, you should stay home for her shower in June!!!
Hi Cathy, Annie and Beth- I went to the shower with Cathy and can testify that Brooke did a wonderful job. The strawberries were fantastic as were the pretzels. We already miss that girl now that she's off to her new job. We miss Annie and Beth too...but we will see you tomorrow Cathy.
